Is this the mother of all word games? There's only one way to find out: watch it, play it, and be a Ludo King. Ludo King: Clash of the Champs, is a brand-new game show that sees eight former professionals going head-to-head on a multi-elimination challenge for the coveted title of Ludo King.

Ludo King has been created by the people behind the worlds biggest kids' game show The Gadget Show with James Anderson.
Presented by former Sky Sports NFL presenter Nick Hancock, the show has been scripted by the former co-host of the British version of The Weakest Link, Anne Robinson, and has a “remarkable” back-story.
The show is looking for contestants, with the vast majority aged over 20.
"I think I'm fit," said one hostess. "I have strong fingers and toes. I have a strong mind. I have no regrets. So yeah, I think I'll be alright.”
Presenter Nick Hancock added: "Ludo has been around for many years but I'm thrilled to see a new format take its place and I can't wait to get stuck in."

South Africa’s Top 5 Ludo Players
1. Lyle Bannister (3rd) – is a former South African champion. He has won the Ludo King Championship three times and holds the record for largest single number of successive wins.
2. Aaron Cameron (7th) – a winner of the previous title in 2016. Aaron has been in the public eye for years, having been crowned Mr South Africa and Dancing with the Stars SA finalist in 2012.
3. Jenkin Adams (14th) – Former public servant and president of the current Miss South Africa, Jenkin is from Mooi River and is one of the most popular competitors on the show. She also has the distinction of being the only female Ludo King to ever win the title.
4. Shaun Burk (3rd) – one of the most decorated Ludo King competitors. Shaun has won the title on three occasions and is the most successful captain. Shaun has also won the Cupid's Darts show in Durban and the televised Celebrity Death Match
5. Justin Kan (1st) – Justin has won the crown on two occasions, the first being in 2011 and most recently in 2016. He is currently the current Guinness World Record holder for Ludo King games.

Ludo King game was launched at Pawan Hans today. The Ludo King and the Ludo Master tie-up is the first of its kind in the entertainment space, to be launched by Pawan Hans. “With this association, we are looking to deliver our vision of ‘Relaxing with Fun and Entertainment’ at Pawan Hans, the premier heli-surgery hospital in the country,” said Pawan Hans Vice-President and Business Head M Rajamani.
The game revolves around the ace Ludo king and his team of Ludo Masters. Each player is given a team of two and every team has four member. The aim of the game is to reach the king’s flag, say the organisers. Players can win as many team points as they can by winning individual rounds.
Each team will have to play 10 rounds to bag the title. The best performing team will get an opportunity to present an item on stage. The four teams will be judged by the judges, Prashant Ranpise, Yogeshwar Sawant, and Sonal Sawant. The team with the highest score will be declared the Ludo King. The team who receives the most votes will be declared the Ludo Masters.
The selected team will be given the opportunity to attend the next Phewa Nosh fest, which will take place in Mumbai on October 14 and 15. “We hope Ludo King android game will attract consumers as it is very entertaining,” said Ranpise. Pawan Hans added, “We are delighted to be the first healthcare company to partner with Ludo King, a game that is making a strong mark on the gaming scene. It is fun, engaging, and also encourages teamwork.”
