Pokemon go game suffers major problem - gamers can't stop playing

There is a major Pokemon Go developer outage going on and gamers are having a meltdown.

According to Down Detector, reports of issues began at around 5:00 p.m. ET, which is at the time a user on the Pokemon Go subreddit reported a severe server issue.

The outage is affecting reports of the app on both Apple and Android devices, but there have been reports of issues on both Android and iOS.

As soon as reports started coming in, various groups were suggesting fixes to the server issue, including for Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, and as mentioned above, Nintendo’s 3DS.

It appears Pokemon Go is still down, but Pokemon Go Group members are suggesting people not panic.

“Down Detector reported a severe server issue which caused people to use their mobile phones as GPS and crash the app,” a Pokemon Go group member said. “It’s down on mobile. No sign of other app issues. Do not freak out.”

Well that certainly cleared things up.

Earlier on in the day there were reports of Pokemon Go servers getting overloaded, which is apparently a very common occurrence.

When it comes to Pokemon Go, the servers have been on and off more often than your Aunt Edna’s bed in the middle of the night.

There have been warnings from Pokemon Go developers about the servers being overloaded due to the number of people playing.

One Pokemon Go developer warned that the servers were overloaded and that people needed to be aware of that.

 The servers have been like this all day and will likely stay that way until tonight at midnight PDT (4am tomorrow GMT). If they start crashing, this isn't over yet. You're still more than welcome to make your backup. Just don't do anything crazy,” Pokemon Go developer Niantic said.

Well, the servers are definitely still overloaded but if you’re an addict like the majority of us, you’ll probably have got over it by now.

Pokemons are the main game feature, though there are many other things to do in the game. There are two main things that you can level up in Pokemon Go, your Pokemon and your Pokeball. There are different types of Pokemons, including types that are weak to certain types of attacks. As you train your Pokemons to level up, you’ll be able to select moves for your Pokemons.

Pokemons require you to spend XP in order to level up. You can also buy Pokeballs with XP and berries to level up your Pokemons at your convenience.

You can also buy other items in order to level up, including Lure Modules that allow you to attract Pokemon, Special Bombs that do extra damage and Lure Modules that give your Pokemon a super and status boost for 30 minutes.

There are also other things that you can do in order to level up and get items, such as going on Gym Battles.

How to Get Pokemon Go? Tap Gyms to Battle

If you want to battle Pokemon in Pokemon Go, you’ll want to battle them in Gyms.

First, you’ll need to find a Gym, but you don’t have to be the leader of a Gym. There is also a limit of 20 Pokemon to be at a Gym at a time.

Before you battle the Pokemon in your Gyms, you’ll need to go to the Gym and attack your opponent’s Pokemon. This will cause your Pokemon to lose.

You can also use your Pokemon to heal other Pokemon at the Gym.

If you want to catch Pokemons, you’ll need to use fishing rods to do so. You can also play in the online and local versions of the game, Pokemon Go Plus and Pokemon Go.

Pokemon Go: Niantic Gym Trading

You can use your Poke Coins to level up your Pokemon, and then you can buy Poke Balls. If you can afford it, then you can purchase items from PokeMart. In the case of Pokemons, you can buy Rare Candies, Rare Candy Particals, Eggs, and more.

Pokécoins are also used to trade Pokemon with other players.

There are also various other in-game events that occur periodically.
