One giant tug of war; Marv trying to make people pay attention to him. At first he would just go and yell at anyone in a way that kept them worried about what was going on, but eventually he grew tired of that and just started doing one giant tug of war at every game. Everyone loves that.
Marv wasn’t just some annoying angry guy who would yell at anyone. When he was a coach he wasn’t nice. He yelled at everyone and thought about others only once in a while. It was so hard to see him be a coach because he was such a good coach and we always wanted to win for him. We wanted him to win and be happy with us winning. But no matter what we did he never got any closer to being happy.

The worst part was that he always blamed us when we lost games. He was angry at himself for getting us in this situation. He wanted the team to win for him and he wanted to win so badly that he took all the blame on himself. He wanted to be a different person but there was no turning back from that.
We saw him once again, after he left the bench, walking around the game and yelling at anyone and everyone. At first he was upset, but it quickly turned to excitement when he spotted Tom. He was so excited that he had already started yelling at Tom for being out of the game. He just could not stand it. He was so upset with Tom that he wouldn’t stop yelling at him.
When he saw Marv come into his sight he stopped walking and stood up.
Marv’s eyes just stared at him and he went back to screaming.
“Hang on a fucking second!” Marv screamed.
“You know what? You just need to wait. That’s what we always do. We wait. We wait for Marv to say something.”
The one rule that Marv and I shared was that we both had to wait for one another when we yelled. The moment we let go, that’s when we knew that the game wasn’t going the right way. We would both yell but once we stopped we knew that the game wasn’t going well.
Tom looked at us with a big smile on his face. Marv did the same and just smiled back.
Marv slowly turned around and continued to walk around the game. Tom smiled even bigger and waved to the fans. Marv saw him waving and waved back. Marv had always been jealous of Tom, but now Marv couldn’t be mad at Tom. Marv just looked around and yelled again at everyone.
Marv’s intensity was coming back.
He wasn’t a guy who just hated everything. He was an avenger. He had to do what he did to get the other team to pay attention. That was his role as the villain. He wasn’t really mad at anyone or anything. He was just doing what he was supposed to do, to get the best out of everyone else.
The sound of Marv’s shoes. It was one sound that you didn’t forget. It would always remind you of a different time. A different game. A different game that was played to remember and to remember how it was to do what Marv was doing.
Marv got angry but it wasn’t coming from anger. It came from vengeance. Vengeance for what he had done to win.

Real-life animal activists were angered by the videos. They cited the potential distress to animals in the process of filming and noted that, even though Glass has been called "the world's most famous pet camera salesman" there are no regulations against using animals as actors.[43] For example, the UK's Advertising Standards Authority issued a warning in April 2013, saying "if you have the rights to use real animals, then you must seek their consent to use them in your ads. And the animals must be able to understand what is happening to them."[5]
Following the release of Glass's revenge short, the ASPCA suggested they were disappointed that Glass's antics didn't earn him "all the credit and reward that's due to the animals in his videos.The society's chief scientific officer, John Goodwin, noted, "unfortunately, this viral video has been used as a vehicle to suggest that the video of a stray cat mauling a small child in San Francisco was a hoax or hoax recreated."[45]
The American Humane Association, the nation's leading voice for protecting the welfare of animals, has noted that some "cruelty-free" fake content might be detrimental to animal welfare.[5]
The ASPCA believes that hoax videos could also harm animal welfare by turning people away from adopting real animals.[5]
Animals who appear in Glass's videos sometimes ask to be removed from the videos.[46]

The hoax was reported as having influenced YouTube to remove some of Glass's videos in 2011.[47]
In an update after he was imprisoned in 2012, Glass wrote that the documentary When Google Met YouTube had caused his star to fade and his new film entitled Leggy Blonde Stalkers was banned from YouTube as it contained "one too many penis jokes."[48]
News of the death hoax caused Netflix to cancel Glass's appearance.
